SCHARFF GROUP has been involved in the Peruvian foreign trade since 1985.
During this time, many changes have occurred nationwide as well as
worldwide. Some domestic and external economic crisis took place;
however Scharff group continued to develop during this period and
constantly adjusted itself to new market demands. In 1986,
SCHARFF CUSTOMS BROKER "AGENTES DE ADUANA S.A." was incorporated;
in 1989 SCHARFF INTERNATIONAL COURIER AND CARGO S.A (S.I.C.C.S.A.)
was created; in 1994 a strategic alliance with the transnational company
FEDERAL EXPRESS CORPORATION (FedEx) - leader in express
service- was reached; in 1996 the DOMESTIC COURIER and IN TOWN COURIER
divisions were created; SCHARFF CARGO S.A. was established in 1997; and as of
1998 the decentralization process began with the opening of a Regional office in
Arequipa, operating in Ilo, Mollendo and Desaguadero. Finally the North Region
office - located in the city of Chiclayo- has been recently opened.
The growth of our customers led us to set up Scahrff Logistics
"SCHARFF LOGISTICA INTEGRAL S.A", thus completing the chain of
Foreign Trade Logistics services.
In this first chapter, so far the main stakeholders of our history are
our customers; we are convinced that there is still much to be said.
We are just starting the second chapter, with a view to consolidating
our services and beginning the internationalization process of Scharff
group, guided by our own mission "TO BE THE BEST OPTION IN COMPREHENSIVE
LOGISTICS FOR FOREIGN AND DOMESTIC MARKET.
